Renewable energies
The world is changing, it’s time to take action directing to a more sustainable world. BNB Solutions is proud to be part on the movement towards this goal of sustainability and we promote and implement the use of renewable energies being for residential or commercial sectors.
Mozambique has great potential for solar energy, the country has an opportunity to maximize the benefits of “clean energy” for improving the life of its communities from lighting to comunication, closing a big gap left by the power grid coverage. Our main goal is guarantee access to clean energy that is reliable, retrofit table, cost effective, dependable and can be stored/backed up. We have designed and delivered both Solar Photo Voltaic and Solar Thermal solutions for both the residential and commercial sector.

Why Go Solar?
- Solar energy is obtained from the sun’s radiation and it can be converted to electricity or heat. It is freely available and thanks to advances in technology, we can now harness even more of the solar energy that is continuously available to us.
Here are some benefits of using solar energy:
- Solar energy has the least negative impact on the environment
compared to any other energy source. It does not produce greenhouse gases and does not pollute the water. It also requires very little water for its maintenance.
- Going solar drastically reduces or even eliminates your electric bills.
Electricity costs can make up a large portion of your monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you’ll generate free power for your system’s entire 25+ year lifespan. Even if you don’t produce 100 percent of the energy you
consume, solar still reduces your utility bills, meaning you’ll save a lot of money.
- Going solar increases your property value.
This one’s easy: homes with solar sell for more than homes without. And when you consider that solar allows you to reduce or eliminate electricity bills, it’s easy to understand why: wouldn’t you rather live somewhere without monthly utility bills?
- The are many advantages of solar energy, and another one is job creation.
Large part of the cost associated with solar systems comes from the installation of the panels. This contributes to local job creation. Using solar systems boosts the economy and positively affects the local community.

Types of solar systems
- Generally, the solar power systems can be divided into three types. Grid-tied Solar Power System: it’s over production goes to the grid and its operation depends on the grid availability.
- Off-grid Solar Power System: its overproduction is stored in batteries and has no connection to the
grid. - Hybrid Solar Power System: this system can work independent from the grind, it can store the overproduction to batteries, and the grid Is available for moments of insufficient solar energy.
